Millet
Our millet is organic. When ground properly it has a scouring effect on the lining of the intestinal tract, removing incrustations and toxic film that accompanies undigested food particles.
Millet is a non-acid forming food so it is easy to digest. In fact it is considered to be one of the least allergenic and most digestible grains available and it is a warming grain so it will help to heat the body in cold or rainy season climates.
Millet is nearly 15% protein, contains high amounts of fiber, B-complex vitamins including niacin, thiamin, and riboflavin, the essential amino acid methionine, and some vitamin E. It is particularly high in the minerals iron, magnesium, phosphorous, and potassium.
Millet is carefully ground in our kitchens so that it may provide a scrubbing effect on the inner walls of the colon. Food particles can cling to the walls of the intestinal track fermenting and causing a toxic film to form. If left untreated these particles can cause incrustation to form along the inner walls of the small and large intestine and will eventually cause hardening of the colon itself. Millet will scour the intestinal track and remove these incrustations over a period of time after continued use allowing flexibility to return.
